Step 1: Consultation

1. Initial Inquiry: After you reach out to us, we'll schedule a phone conversation to discuss your dog's needs and see if our facility is a good match.

2. Membership Application: If we both agree to proceed, you will fill out the membership application. Upon receipt, we'll arrange a time for your dog's evaluation.

3. Required Forms: Before the evaluation, please complete and sign the following:

   • Membership Application (one per pet)
   • Service Agreement
   • Vet Records
   • Credit Card Authorization Form

Step 2: Evaluation

1. Evaluation Fee: Pay a $40 fee to schedule your dog's evaluation. Confirmation will be sent via email or text.

2. Schedule Evaluation: We will arrange a time for you to drop off and pick up your dog for the evaluation.

3. Evaluation Process:

   • Initial Assessment: We'll begin with outdoor time in our backyard to get to know your pup.
   • Socialization Test: If suitable, your dog will be slowly introduced to our evaluator dogs one by one.
   • Feedback: At the scheduled pick-up time, we will provide our recommendations.

   Note: All dogs must complete an evaluation before attending Active Dog Camp or boarding.

What to Expect During the Evaluation

There's nothing to worry or be nervous about! The process at Snuggles and Hugs is designed to be easy and enjoyable for your pup.

1. Outdoor Assessment: We'll start by taking your dog outside to our backyard area to observe their behavior in a relaxed setting.

2. Socialization: Once we have a sense of your dog's comfort level, we'll gradually introduce them to one of our evaluator dogs. The introductions will be done slowly and carefully, one by one, to ensure a positive interaction.

3. Feedback: At the scheduled pick-up time, we will provide you with our recommendations and next steps.
